In November 1995 I purchased a 1957 Chevrolet Model 3100 pickup from a friend. It was a complete basket case at the time with more rust than I care to think about. Both doors sagged and the drivers side front fender had more plastic in it than some Hollywood celebrities. I recall driving it home on a cold wintry day and it having no side glass in the drivers side. I don't believe the heat was working either at the time. I also recall that it snowed that first night I had it and the next morning I had to shovel snow out of the floor on the drivers side (because of the missing window). Since that time I have put many hours of work and many dollars into it to get it into the shape depicted here. Here can be found a few pictures of the truck both before and after my work.
